This is what I came downstairs to. We had finished
breakfast and I went upstairs to get clothes for everyone. Spencer came up and told me that the girls were making a mess downstairs. I was talking to my Dad on the phone so I told him not to interupt and assumed that they were strewing toys everywhere. When I came down moments later I was shocked. They had dismanteled the gas fireplace. They took the rocks and fiberglass and sand (that I didn't even know was under there) and spread it everywhere!!!!!!!
My friend saved the day by calling and inviting us to a playdate at the park. Thanks Dea, it was so nice to get together!!!
Moral of the story.........listen to your tattle tale!!! :)

Happy Anniversary
Today was our 8th wedding anniversary. (We have been together for 13 years)
We took the kids and went to our favorite Mexican restaurant Los Cucos and had dinner with friends. Our nice romantic anniversary date................. with kids. I would not have had it any other way!!!!
We are so fortunate to have our amazing children that make us a family.

Got crabs???
We went back to the beach last Thursday and all really enjoyed it. Bob dragged a big tangle of rope out of the water and to our amazement it was full of little crabs. The kids had a blast catching them all and putting them in the bug keeper. We let them all go free before we left to come back home.
We buried Spencer in the sand and had a picnic on the beach.
I got cancelled at work this weekend so we spent it in the pool. Poor little Caden was running pushing a chair and it got caught and he went FLYING over the top and landed on his head. There was blood everywhere and I thought Bob was going to have a heart attack. He ended up with a BIG bump on his forehead and a cut and road rash on his little nose. Some oreo cookies fixed him right up though :)

To the beach
I met Bob after work yesterday and we took the kids to the beach in Galveston. The weather was perfect and they had a BALL. We built sand castles and played in the water. The water was so warm. The kids made ugly faces when they got salt water in their mouths.
It was so nice not having to hang on to everyone constantly like last year. (We only went once last summer.) Spencer is the one who made me nervous and he is the good swimmer. The little ones had water wings on so I knew they would not go totally under and disappear. I would not have been able to see Spencer if he went under. (not exactly the clearest water like Hawaii ha ha ha).
Ok I know I am a paranoid mother. ha
We walked and searched for sea shells and ran in the water splashing the whole way. I can hardly wait to go back.

Breakfast
After I dropped Spencer off at pre-school this morning I took the triplets out for breakfast at IHOP (International House of Pancakes). Spencer did not miss out on anything as he would not have eaten a thing on the menu - picky kid.
This is the first time I have taken the babies to a restaurant all by myself. They did great and really enjoyed it. We split a breakfast of french toast and eggs.
People thought they were very well behaved and adorable. I would take them out to eat alone anytime now.
