We went back to the beach last Thursday and all really enjoyed it. Bob dragged a big tangle of rope out of the water and to our amazement it was full of little crabs. The kids had a blast catching them all and putting them in the bug keeper. We let them all go free before we left to come back home.
We buried Spencer in the sand and had a picnic on the beach.
I got cancelled at work this weekend so we spent it in the pool. Poor little Caden was running pushing a chair and it got caught and he went FLYING over the top and landed on his head. There was blood everywhere and I thought Bob was going to have a heart attack. He ended up with a BIG bump on his forehead and a cut and road rash on his little nose. Some oreo cookies fixed him right up though :)

P. S. - Got Crabs? Don't know about in Canada, but in the USA, that question can be quite ambiguous. when they get older and read this, they will probably have a good laugh. Love, Nana

I cannot believe poor Caden gave himself such a bad bump :( Glad to hear the miraculous curing power of Oreos did not fail :)

I love the picture of Spencer with Peyton's legs. I agree with Nana on the "Got crabs?" line. You do so much with the kids and you both seem to enjoy it as much as the kids do. Do you have any idea what dind of horrible creatures live in the ocean? EEEWWWW!!!!
