We went to the library this morning for story time and handed in our reading logs. The kids each received a free book and a bunch of great coupons, as we signed up for the summer reading program.
The story was about an opera singer and they had a real singer read it.

She sang a bunch of parts too, the kids thought that was great and tried to immitate her on the way home. My ears will never be the same again. ha ha ha
We took Elizabeth, Ronald and Noah to one of our favorite restaurants today....Chuck E Cheese's. Noah really seemed to enjoy it and my kids had fun as usual.

Chuck E Cheese is a favorite of mine too!. Great place with good security to keep the kids safe and still able to run around on their own. Just perfect for their age. Not to mention they have the token system down pat and can play most of the stuff by themselves.
Hope Noah enjoyed it as much as your kids do.

We did the summer reading program here too and they ended up with some great stuff for doing something we already do. I love free stuff! It sounds like you've been having a great time with your friends. We'll miss you while you're in Canada, but have a great time.

I wish Noah had enjoyed the library more. Considering how much he loves to read I was surprised he did not want to be in the library. We all loved Chuck E. Cheese though, he asks about going now that we are back home now :)

We should have checked out our library while you were here. Next time. Too bad you're not here this weekend. They are going to try to break the Guinness World Record and gather 1500 kids and volunteers to play Duck Duck Goose in the park this Saturday.
