First movie for the triplets

Today the triplets went to their very first movie. We went and saw Robots (re-released). It was a challenge and I was not sure how they would do. I am so proud of them. They did amazing. Peyton was a little scared of all the people at first, but once the movie started she was fine. I took juice and little baggies full of cheerios and goldfish for snacks. They sat in little booster seats in the chairs so they could see better.
Caden just kept looking at me for the first five minutes and saying "robots mommy!!!!. Its his favorite show.
I would definitley take them again, we all had fun!

Bye bye cast

Peyton got to take the cast off her arm for good today. I was a bit worried how she would do as she would come and tell me to put it back on when I took it off for baths. I had her throw it in the garbage and say "bye bye cast". Spencer actually took it off for her with the other two standing right there looking to see what was going on. It was really cute that they were concerned about her. Her little wrist is stiff, but there is no stopping her.
Now if we can just keep her from getting anymore broken bones we will have it made!!!

Good Friends

We had a ball this weekend. Our friend Beth came over on Friday and Saturday and swam with us all day. Then Sunday our friends Jan and Steve and their neice Cate came to play in the pool. Unfortunately we didn't ALL get together at the same time. We hadn't seem them in a while, but the kids took to them quickly and were all over them in the pool.
It was a GREAT weekend.

Happy Father's day

We had a quiet day at home today. The kids and I made a t-shirt for Daddy with their hand prints on it. He wanted spagetti for supper that we all enjoyed too.
I think that he is still in shock that he has 4 kids.
We have given him lots of extra hugs and kisses to show him that he is the best Daddy in the world.
We appreciate all you do and love you!!!

No stopping this girl

HUGE scare

We had to figure out something so Peyton could swim with her broken arm. We rigged a make-shift splint and wrapped her arm in ace wrap so she can get in the water. She is thrilled!!! She runs to get the other splint when she hears the word "swimming".

I had a HUGE scare with Sydney this morning. The kids and I were swimming and she was riding her little car around outside (against my better judgement-I was thinking that I needed to put them away) and she fell, car and all into the pool. Seemed like 5 minutes before I got to her - everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. It probably was only about 10 seconds, but even that was long. She is perfectly fine and was just scared as was Mommy.
Sydney keeps saying "bump my head and fall in pool". She also told me "my mouth, nose and eyes get wet". She was so scared when I grabbed her that she wanted out of the pool and said "I want my towel". Caden was all concerned about her and got out of the pool and was in her face talking to her and hugging her and giving her a kiss. It was just so sweet! Then he insisted on getting wrapped up in a towel so he could sit next to her.
I am just to thankful that she is ok, it could have been a horrible ending. I just wanted to share so everyone keeps an extra eye on their kids and gives them a GIANT hug!!!

OH NO............not again!?!?

Ok, when is it going to end? We have another casualty at our household. Peyton broke her arm!!! She just got out of her leg cast on the first of May!
She was wrestling with Daddy and Spencer last night and ended up UNDER Daddy (who feels terrible). She was so MAD at him last night (as you can tell from the picture of her cradling her arm). He wasn't even allowed to look at her. He felt so bad too!!!
She has a buckle or torus fracture to the big bone in her forearm(the radius) and will be splinted for 3 weeks. The doctor didn't cast it as he said she doesn't need a repeat x-ray before it comes off. Will save me a trip to the dr. to have the cast removed. Its better this way anyway as I can take the splint off for baths. I have to cover her arm with a bag during meals so she doesn't slop food all over the splint. She doesn't seem to mind the splint (or the bag for that matter) She is so good natured and just goes with the flow.
The poor thing, I just feel so bad!! She has really been enjoying swimming too!

Perfect smile

Spencer has his first dental check up today with Dr. Anderson. He did amazing and opened his mouth when asked and never complained. His teeth were perfect and NO cavities. He had them cleaned and a fluoride treament applied. They even took a picture with the dentist when he was done.

Sydney went to the same dentist yesterday and her tooth is fine. I was so relieved!!! It is not cracked into the nerve or the root. It doesn't require any treatment at this point. I will just wait and see if the appearance bothers her later and then consider fixing it cosmetically. It may fall out before she cares. ( I hope)
Now we will just wait for the next crisis!!!

The boy beneath the sea

Spencer is such a water bug - I can't believe it.
We took these pictures in our pool with an underwater camera. Who smiles under the water.........Spencer does. lol
He would stay in the pool forever if you let him. I am so proud of him and how well he can swim. He has NO fear of the water.
