Look out Steven Spielberg

Spencer has been wanting to make a movie for a while now. We finally got around to doing it this morning. He did a story board and we made toilet paper roll actors to star in his movie.
All the kids thought it was kind of fun to do.
He made the title and credit pages and I edited on the computer. He is not quite at the editing age yet. He did help me though and tell me how much to cut off and where to start the next scene. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we had fun making it.
Please don't forget us as oscar time either!!!!

He created a storyboard of his movie before we did it to so I hope you enjoy his script too.

Here is a close up of the "actors".

Ouch

Caden got his little face smashed against the side of the pool when Spencer jumped off the floaty chair thing and pushed it in to him. Spencer felt so bad too.
Bob had a heart attack when he saw the blood and went running in the house for half a roll of paper towels yelling that he needed stitches.
After I took a picture :) I wiped it off and it was just a tiny little cut that bled a lot. He survived and got right back in the pool and stayed there until the thunder and lightening started and I made them get out of the pool.
I LOVE thunder storms and sat outside at the table under the umbrella to enjoy it. The kids all ran inside to get their umbrellas so they could help me enjoy it. It was kind of hard to enjoy the storm as you could hardly hear the thunder over their loud voices.

Roommates

The boys spent their first night together as roommates (as Spencer calls it) last night. We finally have their room done - for the most part. Still need to finish putting up some decorations.
Spencer was thrilled as he has always been alone. He was so excited to be able to talk when they went to bed. That was hilarious as the whole reason Caden wanted out of the girls room was because Peyton talked at bedtime and wouldn't let him sleep. He was not about to let Spencer talk to him and keep him up. Caden is just thrilled with his Thomas the train bed.

Look out Olympic diving team, here she comes

This is how Peyton is diving. She smacks her poor little belly into the water, but does not seem to mind. No idea where she got this from as I am not trying to teach them to dive or even do it myself for that matter. lol
Just thought the picture was priceless even if its a little sun exposed.

Happy Father's Day Daddy, we love you.
We had a great weekend playing in the pool and just hanging out.
The kids all made Daddy some home made cards.

Babysitting

I watched our dear friend's granddauthter today and she is just too cute. I was able to get my baby fix and the kids just went crazy over her. We fought over who got to hold her and feed her.
She is just four months old and already I can't remember all the details of when my own kids were that age.
I can remember looking at my Mom with disbelief when my sister's kids were babies and she could not remember the exact age that we got our first tooth or sat up. She would just look at my sister and I like we were nuts that we thought she should remember all those details. We were CERTAIN we would remember EVERY detail of our children's lives.
Bet if you asked my sister she would have NO clue, same as me. Having kids does something to your brain. I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesteday, don't even ask how old they were when they got their first tooth. :)
I hear that having teenagers finishes off whats left of your brain too. I am SO looking forward to those years.

Is there something on my face?

We were playing outside in the pool today and found a lady bug. The kids just LOVE bugs and we don't go anywhere without our trusty bug catchers.
It crawled all over them and they thought it was hilarious. Caden and Peyton would only let it walk on their arms and legs though.

Last day of Kindergarten

Last Thursday was Spencer's last day of kindergarten, I can't believe he is growing up so fast. Someone make it slow down!!!
We all went to his school for a little powerpoint presentation by his teacher and she handed out their little certificates or "diplomas" for passing kindergarten. Then they had a pizza lunch and got to come home. He took his yearbook and everyone signed it for him. Here he is with his teacher.
I made him a little "graduation" cake too and he thought it was very cool. Of course I need to keep my day job though as I don't think I would fare well as a cake decorator.

We left Friday morning for Seaworld and spent the night. We didn't get home until 3:30 this morning, not quite sure why we didn't stay again?? We just managed to wake Spencer up, the kids are exhausted. They slept all the way home, but are worn out from playing so hard. Spencer is practicing to be a teenager I guess. lol
We did the water park and it was so much fun. Don't have any pictures of it though as I didn't bring my waterproof camera. The kids loved the water slides and wave pool. My favorite was the lazy river, ( or "lazy lizard" as Caden calls it) I could have spent all day floating on it. Well, we did spend a ton of time on it. We are all a little sun burned too. Not bad considering we spent two full days in the sun. I am still trying to wash the layers of sun screen off. Still feel grungy after showering.
